Neil Sheehan, of Sheehan Partners, ltd. and Donald McKay, of Nagle Hartray Architecture on behalf of the leadership of their respective firms, are pleased to announce their merger. The new firm, known as Sheehan Nagle Hartray Architects in the US and Sheehan Nagle Hartray Associates in the UK (SNHA). The US office is led by six Principals: Neil Sheehan, AIA, RIBA; Donald McKay, AIA; Timothy Hill, AIA; Timothy Connor, AIA; Eric Penney, AIA; and Dirk Danker, AIA.
The UK office is led by Directors Richard Wilding and Justin Manson. Sheehan founded his Chicago-based firm in 2004. Specializing in technically challenging projects for corporate and development clients, the firm is widely recognized for their expertise in the design of data centers, having designed some of the largest and most technically advanced data center facilities in the world. For 50 years, Nagle Hartray has been providing exceptional service characterized by award-winning design, technical expertise, and sound project management across a wide range of markets including education, residential, civic and cultural work. The new firm will offer the wide range of building type expertise both firms are known for to a diverse group of public and private sector clients across the U.S. and around the world.

Together, both firms feature a roster of signature clients including Facebook, Microsoft, Equinix, Francis W. Parker School, and Northwestern University. SNHA will be staffed by more than 50 design professionals. The merger became effective on May 30, 2017.
